Established in 1974, Murphy General Contracting began as a small family-operated business built on hands-on craftsmanship, integrity, and pride in every project. Over the decades, the company expanded its services while maintaining the same attention to detail and personalized approach that built its reputation from the beginning.

Today, Murphy GC specializes in complete interior and exterior residential and commercial renovations, including dormers, extensions, kitchens, bathrooms, custom homes, garage conversions, finished basements, and large-scale remodeling projects.

Led by Charles “Skip” Murphy — a third-generation carpenter and home remodeler — clients work directly with the ownership team throughout the construction process to ensure accountability, communication, and high-quality workmanship from start to finish.
